Nero's Guests is a documentary directed by Deepa Bhatia which speaks about the issue of farmers suicide from 1997 and the government's reluctant response towards it. P. Sainath, the rural affairs editor of the Hindu newspaper, he talks about the problems of the farmers suicides in depth. The documentary compares, Nero to the ruling classes of today, who completely disregard the dreadful conditions of the farmers, it also demonstrates how the main stream media has completely neglected the hardship of the farmers.
